Why we ring you six weeks later
A launch monitor tells us what a club did in a bay. It cannot tell us what it did on the eighth hole into a two-club wind. So roughly six weeks after a build we call and ask three questions: is the ball starting where you expect, has anything felt heavy or whippy, and are there gaps in your yardages you did not have before.
Answers go onto your file. If something needs adjusting inside ninety days of a build, the bench time is free — a spec that does not survive contact with a real course was our error, not yours.
What we hear most often
- Dispersion tightened before distance changed. That is the normal order.
- The heaviest complaint disappears first, usually the one club that was badly wrong.
- Grip size changes get noticed within two rounds, more than any other single alteration.
- Golfers who expected twenty yards and got seven are, six weeks on, scoring better anyway.
