Tomasz takes the intake pass on most iron and driver sessions and writes the majority of the sheets that leave this building. He is the person to ask if you want to know why a number is on your page rather than simply what it is.
A former college player who spent six seasons running junior clinics on the west side before joining the floor in 2016. Bridget handles every junior sizing appointment and most of our women's full-set work, and she is the reason our wrist-to-floor chart goes down to 42 inches rather than stopping where the manufacturer charts do.
Andre owns the second half of the document. Shaft prep, trim, epoxy schedule, ferrule seating, swingweight and the post-cure verification pass all run through his bench. If a club misses its target window by more than the tolerance printed on your sheet, he pulls it apart rather than shipping it and noting the miss.
Marta runs the putting lab and the wedge bench. She reads stroke arc off the mat, matches head mass to the green speeds you actually putt on, and does the grind selection work for wedge sheets. She also keeps the regrip queue, which on a Saturday in April is not a small job.
We book two appointments at a time, one per bay, and never stack a third. It is a slower way to run a business and it is the reason the calendar sometimes runs two weeks out in spring, but it means nobody is left hitting balls alone while their fitter answers the phone.
Monday is dark to appointments because it is the build day. Everything written the previous week gets assembled, cured and verified on Mondays, which is also why turnaround is quoted from the Monday after your session rather than from the session itself.
